Pepa Plana establishes itself in Sant Jaume with her project for a creation center

Pepa Plana has settled in Sant Jaume, where she plans to convert an old farm into a creative center.

The aim is to convert a farm, which has a surface area of 2,400 square metres, into a creative centre similar to the one that has been operating in Maine (USA) since the 1970s, where specialised courses in mime, clowning or theatrical improvisation are held, or like the one in Celrà, in Girona, promoted by the Mal Pas dance company. It would be open to theatre and circus companies to carry out stays or prepare shows and courses and workshops would be organised. The idea is to divide the farm into three spaces, one dedicated to the Pepa Plana company, a main rehearsal space with a height of 5.5 metres and a third for accommodation for the participants.

At the moment, part of the farm has already been equipped as a warehouse for the company and now the urban classification will be changed. To do this, they have the complicity of the Sant Jaume City Council. The idea is that the project will progress and be reactivated in approximately two years, when Pepa Plana returns from her tour with Cirque du Soleil.
