Cia Pepa Plana Nominated for Best Costume Design at the Talía Awards

A few days ago, we at Cia Pepa Plana had the great honor of attending the Talía Awards Gala in Madrid, one of the most important events for the performing arts in the country. We went with a very special excitement, as the costume design for our latest show was nominated.

Rosa Solé Escudé and Imma Ebjol were officially nominated in the “Best Costume Design” category for their magnificent work on A cada pas (With Every Step).

For us, this nomination represents a major recognition. At the company, we have always considered costume design to be a key element of the dramaturgy and visual poetry that we bring to the stage; we take meticulous care of it in every production, and seeing this dedication valued at such a high-level awards ceremony fills us with pride.

This recognition also celebrates a combination of talents and shared histories:
Our history with Rosa Solé goes back a long way: In the year 2000, with the show Giulietta, we signed our first collaboration. That was the first of many other costume designs and sketches that have accompanied us over the years, and which we have always deeply admired.

On the other hand, we have just started collaborating with Imma Ebjol on this latest show, and we couldn’t have launched this partnership in a better way.

From here, we would like to reiterate our most sincere congratulations and infinite thanks to both of them for having dressed A cada pas with so much sensitivity and talent.

Thank you, Rosa and Imma, and here’s to many more shared successes!
