Cia Pepa Plana was nominated at the Talía Awards. We attended the performing arts gala, where our show «A cada pas» was nominated for Best Costume Design.
If you go to two fairs!
After taking part with ‘Si tu te’n Vas’ in both fairs, at Fira Tàrrega and the Feria de Ciudad Rodrigo, it’s time to reap the rewards.
In Ciudad Rodrigo we sold out the performance: 410 people (between the audience and programmers) enjoyed the Spanish premiere of ‘Si tú te vas.’ The response was very positive at a fair with a strong influence on the Spanish market. It was already the third time we had taken part, after ‘Hatzàrdia’ in 2004 and ‘Paradís Pintat’ in 2016.
And at Fira Tàrrega we also sold out, in this case both performances, with people even left standing in the street, having turned up at the last minute in case there were any tickets left. It had been a few years since we’d taken part in Catalonia’s flagship festival, and it was a happy reunion.
In both cases, there was a palpable eagerness for a “normal” fair after the most recent editions, which had been much more affected by the pandemic. And, as always, the public responded.
Grateful and happy, we look forward to touring towns and cities across the country.
