Veus que no Veus arrives in Barcelona
The show Veus que no veus by the Pepa Plana Company arrives in Barcelona this December. First it makes a stop at the Coñumor Festival in Rivas-Vaciamadrid https://www.facebook.com/conumorfeminista/ and immediately afterwards, on Wednesday 18th, we premiere at the Escenari Brossa, where it will run throughout the festive season until 6th January. The dates and times of the performances can be found on the theatre’s website http://escenaribrossa.cat/
The show is a duo of clowns who want to be seen and heard. An Augusto and a White Clown. Veus que no veus presents the female version of the so-called ‘classic entrances.’ How do they change and what meaning do they take on when played by two clownesses instead of two clowns? What would have happened if our grandmothers had been able to be clowns? It’s about laughing, yes, but not only that, it’s about talking, playing and perhaps biting.
